Could anyone help me with my t1 (fow) play?
Hi Everyone,
Before I start I must say I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this. So if it isn't please tell/warn/flame me and I'll make sure to remove/close the thread (if such a thing is possible)
After playing alot of EoE and Mop in FoWSC runs I thought it would be fun to try something more challenging so I made a sin, got him all the neccesairly skills, eotn ranks and gear to run T1. I watched alot of different t1 videos, some multiple times and then finally decided to start practice runs. However after alot of practice runs with friends and guildies I seem to not have made any progress, I can't even get past the menzies part.
Now my real question is:
Would anyone who's an experienced T1 be willing to guide me through the entire fow? It would basically work like this: I get cons and everything and we enter FoW together, you suicide and spectate me as i do the t1 route. It would be great if you could guide me during the run. especially if you have a program such as TS/skype/mumble whatever.
My IGN: lee singah
Thanks in advance^^
Wilco.

T2 is cosidered easier, why not start there?
It's mostly à matter of timing playing with iau and sf. So make sure to cast sf while iau is up. General tip really.
Also where do you fail? Die? W/e

I heard that T2 was easier as well, but when watching videos i hardly noticed a difference. T1 seemed to have less paths and "spots" to remember so i thought that way it would be easier to learn, while possibly harder to master.
Also tha sensei pmed me today and taught me alot, so many thanks to him^^
I think i'll be fine for now, now that i know the little secrets and i'll do another bunch of practice runs before possibly crying for help again^^

I started doing the terra roles in fowsc just recently as well.
T2 is easier, although the cave-wolf likes to annoy you and spawns far from the cave pretty often... so far whenever I really screwed it up (as in all the spiders at the beginning of the cave were killed by the shadow foes), the main-team was nice enough to cover it while I went to do khobay.
For me the Menzies part is the hardest when playing t1. All you can do is watch videos and take your time (I try to rush it and fail too though ><). Kill all the skele berserkers you aggro, and try not to aggro more than one group with berserkers at once.
Burning Forest is easy, follow the tutorials you found on youtube for it.
ToS is easy, if you don't overaggro and take your time.
So far, whenever I failed, it was on the battlefield; never in the burning forest or ToS.
Practice makes perfect, so keep practicing and try to get into a fixed pattern for your run (as in where to death charge, what groups to aggro when, etc.). That's what I will try at least ^^

That's exactly what happens to me, the burning forest and ToS are really easy to do. But the battlefield is a pain.
I usually aggro two groups of berserkers and the monk+rangers at the small camp before slivering the berserkers>monk>rangers down. I do this because all the videos i've seen do that. But sometimes it takes quite a while if sliver is really random.
Your tactic of slivering the berserkers down everytime before aggroing another group seems alot easier. But will you have enough aggro to kill them quickly? or do you need multiple slivers?
Edit: Also about getting a patern. I haven't been able to do this yet. Since i run practice groups and not normal runs (dont want any rage/dissapointment incase i fail) i sometimes have to explain small things to people who are really new to FoW. However when i do this it means the berserker groups are at different positions everytime i reach the battlefield, since we wasted time at the entrance.

camp is faster without aggroing the beserkers and just the caster patrol.
